Entry Level Jobs in Corporate Compliance.?

I am a recent law school graduate with a degree in finance. I'm trying to achieve my foot in the door in the area of Corporate Compliance with either an investment bank, hedge funds, money management company. I have some funds coverage of practical experience and financial adviser, not from any direct experience of Compliance (part of my studies in school laws.) What position would be a good entry level job to move in the direction of compliance. I know that many of the large financial companies are doing very little in terms of hiring today. But how can start building some knowledge in this area, so I am ready when the market resumes again? Thanks …
