The special tools and fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA) is a non-association educational non-profit composed of trade distributors, manufacturers, agents and representative of light construction, industry, and related products. STAFDA History:
Founded
Founded in 1976 by 18 leaders industry trying to create an organization where manufacturers and distributors of construction and industrial products could interface.
Executive Director
The 18 industry leaders who founded STAFDA contracted with my old teacher Halvorsen industry veteran to serve as the first executive director. After his retirement in December 1999, Georgia Foley assumed CEO responsibilities from 1 January 2000.
Phenomenal growth
In recent 28 years STAFDA happened the first 18 founding members of 2603 member companies. Membership is composed of 1152 distributors, 1126 partners, 21 branches of publishing, and 311 received manufacturer / agent.
Contributions and benefits
Surprisingly, the annual fee has remained constant since 1977 at $ 350, while the services and programs have continued increasing. STAFDA members enjoy a "buffet" of 70 different features, where they can choose what suits your business needs.

Annual Convention
STAFDA holds an annual convention every year in November for members to convene and participate in educational programs, seminars and an exhibition is always exciting While the participation of leaders in manufacturing, distribution and representative agencies in industry.
30 Fair STAFDA Annual Convention & Trade Show – Technology and consultants was held in November 13-15, 2006, and represents the 30th Annual Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas.
